:: What to do for summer camp?  How about a fun and different camp this year!  We are doing Fairy/Elf School 101 and Pirate School 101 starting June 3rd through the end of June.  Fairy/Elf School is a magical week learning all the goodness of Nature Spirits.  We will be making nature wands, learning how to use wishing stones, fairy house making, nature journals and more.  On the last day of Fairy/Elf School you will earn your wings with a special tea.
Pirate School101 is all about florida pirate folklore and all the loot they left behind.  We will learn all about the pirate ship, how to talk like a pirate, some herbs they used, how to tie knots for the rigging and of course we are making our jolly rodger flags.  At the end of Pirate School you will take all the information you learned for our buried treasure hunt if you dare.......
We are donating $10.00 for each camper enrolled benefiting Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sarasota.  We do need 6 campers per week to do camp so sign up now.  Brochures and forms are available in the shop or we can mail one to you.  Discounts for garden members!  Please note your child must be 5 years old to be dropped off for our camps and camp week runs monday - friday 10:00am (drop off at 9:45am) and pick up time is at 1:30pm.

::  We will be closing on mondays starting in June through August.  We will be open tuesday - sunday 10am-5pm.  We have misters in our rainforest to keep everyone cool and the garden is pretty shaded.  Arm yourself with alittle sunscreen and bug spray it is florida!!!

36 Hour Giving Challenge

"UNLEASH YOUR INNER GENEROSITY" and be a part of the 36 Hour Giving Challenge hosted by The Community Foundation of Sarasota along with numerous other giving foundations.  Go online to GivingPartnerChallenge.org on March 5th & 6th and click on The Children's Garden profile and secure your online donation.

We are honored to be part of this Giving Challenge last year so many donors gave to their favorite non-profits that the fundraiser was a huge success.

The Children's Garden has two wonderful business partnerships who are lovingly donating a portion of their proceeds to us which are Owen's Fish Camp and Maximillian's Cafe.  Please dine at their restaurants on March 5th & 6th and help the garden while enjoying their yummy food!  Thank-you!
